It’s been raining for days. It was pouring this morning. I didn’t think we were going to be able to do our session this afternoon, but fortunately there was a break in the rain. We had a fabulous time running around taking photos. And as I write this now, it’s raining again. Oh, well. Enjoy your sneak peek!
Here’s a sneak peek for a Mum who wanted some more photos of her sweet little boy.
A couple of weeks ago I participated in a 3-day photography workshop in Sydney with Tamara Lackey. There are so many reasons why this was simply an amazing experience for me. Tamara is not only an incredible photographer, she is quite a savvy business woman. We discussed issues relating to the business of photography, photographing children and families, post processing, and more. I was so happy to meet a group of lovely photographers from all over Australia and New Zealand. I’m even more happy that we’re all keeping in touch. I left the workshop with a huge to-do list for my business and a ton of new tricks and techniques for getting the best shots of little kids and families.
This also explains why my husband had to take my 365 photos for 4 days. It was my first time away from Eliza! I think he did a great job.
Here are some photos I took of the “shooting” part of the workshop.
Showing off some more of my favourites from last weekend’s session. I’ve been so excited to do a family shoot down by the lake, and the location didn’t disappoint. I also couldn’t have asked for a lovelier family. We were joined by Eliza towards the end of the shoot, and the two little friends were adorable, as usual. Yes, we’re already discussing their wedding plans.
These are FABULOUS. Lovely work. x
