Science Museum

Eliza and I had a great time at the science museum this afternoon. She’s not quite old enough to really appreciate the exhibits, but that didn’t stop her from running from one to the next saying “oh wow mommy!”. I’m glad I took my camera – lots of good daily photo opportunities. The light inside the museum wasn’t the best, very dim at times which made me appreciate my camera’s high ISO capabilities. Plus, there were some funky colours going on with the lighting, so I decided to do some black and whites with my processing, which eliminates the need to get the colour right. Here are a few of today’s images, including the 365 photo.

P.S. Don’t be surprised if you see a new version of one/some of these images if we decide to go back to the museum and I need another daily photo 😉 We are annual pass holders…

Great shots — but you’ve been in Australia too long when you spell a word describing “the quality of an object or substance with respect to light reflected by the object, usually determined visually by measurement of hue, saturation, and brightness of the reflected light; saturation or chroma; hue” coloUr. Oy!

So grateful for the internet and watching Eliza from afar. . . she’s beautiful and brilliant — just like her momma!

Haha, Kelly. Normally it’s easier to know how to spell depending on my audience, but the blog is read by both so it’s not clear is it?! Thanks for looking 🙂
